Carel has partnered with designer Charles de Vilmorin to create the shoes and bags for its first Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024–25 show. The collaboration was a natural fit: his world is also imbued with nostalgia, and Carel’s iconic Mary Janes in pop colors are undeniably playful and nostalgic. For these models, our teams developed a printed leather based on Charles’ illustrations: a black and white motif, and a vibrant, colorful one, both featuring the designer’s abstract arabesques.
